Creating Everlasting Memories

Dashoots Photobooth started because my partner (Mark) and I have always been free spirits. I originally set out to study Veterinary Medicine, but ceramics was more my style. Through my years of commuting home to visit from Los Angeles to the Oregon coast, I would take pictures of the landscape. With climate change happening all around us we barely notice the small things, and I refused to miss it.  My goal is to always capture the moment because you don't know if you'll see that same butterfly, bird, bee, insect, loved one, lake, river...etc., memories are a huge part of me- I’ve written journals since the 4th grade. I grew up with Polaroid, Kodak, & Fuji film cameras. Which, if any of you remember, the torture of waiting 2-4 weeks to get your film back was a real thing!!!

I left Oregon to join the Army. I might just blog about those details later. After 6 years I decided to stay in California where majority of my family lives. I decided to pursue Veterinarian studies, but when I needed to evaluate my focus, I chose to travel. My free spirit took me all over Europe, and exploring places that my culture originated. My inquisitive brain loves diversity in human nature- it drives me to learn more about people, their stories, their language, and their culture. Moving back to Oregon, I finished my degree at OSU-Cascades in Culture & Creativity- with emphasis on Communication and Anthropology. My creativity allows me to play with graphic designs, which I love! Since school, I am here starting this journey towards photo-boothing!

Mixing all sorts of different environments is my favorite thing- I am an Aries and we don’t like to be bored. So the idea of being mobile, and working with people from various backgrounds is more my style. I create fun and inviting templates (because I love them), find original props or perhaps make them, because I love to work with my hands, and lots of fun by creating candid moments, because those are great! I care about my clients, your expectations, and overall your happiness with my services—after all sharing is caring.

Dashoots Photobooth got its name from an evening before going to bed. My partner Mark and I joke around with funny raps. He's a reggae artist and I'm a landscape photographer- we're children at heart, and night we get goofy and dorky. I guess it's how we cope with the day and therefore we break things down into a rap, or goofiness. Deschutes is the county that Bend resides in, along with the Deschutes River, and many businesses that carry the name. I wanted to incorporate play and got Dashoots (pronounced: Duh-shoots), and we absolutely love the name!

I’m very proud we applied our inner child to the work we do. Goofing around incorporates the atmosphere when you hire Dashoots Photobooth to be your photo entertainment.

Although we're very stable geniuses, we provide events with our professional goofiness.

We are an amazing addition to any event, party, or festival. Dashoots Photobooth believes memorable moments must be captured. So here we are—creating everlasting moments for you to cherish for years to come!
